Stop giving excuses and Share the Gospel!!

1000137796Everyday we pass by our unsaved family members and our unsaved friends without sharing about Jesus. Who knows when their life will end but when they reach hell they will be shouting your name. Have u ever hesitated to preach the Gospel to your dear ones? Well, I have rejected the voice of the Holy spirit when He asked me to preach the Gospel to unbelievers.

Why should we preach the Gospel?

1.It is a Command:

Jesus has commanded us to preach the gospel. Every Christian must obey this command.

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Mark 16:5

2.It is our Father’s heart:

It is our Father’s heart that everyone should be saved.

He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to be saved. 2 Peter 3:9

But how will they be saved??How can they believe in Jesus without someone preaching to them? Jesus has given the responsibility of sharing the Gospel to us so people can believe and be saved. People getting saved is God’s heart and it is our responsibility as a Child of God to fulfill the desires of our Father’s heart. So, you can take it as a command or as a responsibility to fulfill your Father’s Heart. Its your choice, but be sure to preach Gospel.

What if we don’t share the Gospel?

Let me take u on a ride to find What God has to say on this:

“Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman,  and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. 5 Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood. Ezekiel 33:2-6

God says to Ezekiel that he will hold the people’s blood on his head if he does not warn them about the coming sword, but if he warns them he will be free and those people’s blood will be on their own heads. Well you may think that it is the Old testament.Wait a minute, the ride is not yet over. Read the verse below:

Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of everyone. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. Acts 20:26-27

Here Paul says the same thing. He says this to the Ephesian Church as He had already preached to them about Jesus. So friends don’t hesitate to preach the Gospel or you will be responsible for someone’s blood.

Why many don’t share the Gospel?:

Most of us don’t share the Gospel because of the fear of being rejected or insulted by our loved ones. It is Our Duty to preach the Gospel even if people don’t listen to us or accept us. Best example would be Jesus in this case,Jesus was not accepted by his family members or in his own town. But still Jesus did not stop preaching. He did things what Father commanded him to do on this earth. Our loved ones may think we are out of our mind as many thought of Jesus, but our Father in Heaven knows what we are doing and he will reward us in His time. You are already accepted by God, go from that place of acceptance and share. If people insult you or reject you, thank God they did because the Bible says “great” is the reward of those who are insulted for Jesus.

Sharing the Gospel from the pleasure mode:

The command and the responsibility of sharing the Gospel becomes a pleasure when we encounter God’s heart. Sharing the Gospel is fun if you are in Love with Jesus. Take your eyes off people, fix it on Jesus and flow with the Holy Spirit. Soon, you will be turning people from their way to hell to the highway of heaven.
